Our client is a leading International Strategy consulting Company. Its Energy practice helps companies navigate an increasingly complex business climate. We cover for the Oil and Power & Gas sectors, including all «green energy» sectors. We work with the full range of players in the industry: integrated international oil companies (IOCs), national oil companies (NOCs), upstream players, oilfield service companies, refiners, petrochemical producers, and oil trading firms. Additionally, we work with integrated power and gas utilities, international power producers, renewable specialists, energy wholesalers and retailers, commodity traders, and infrastructure and industry service providers. Lastly, we work with water utilities and waste- management firms, governments, regulators, industry associations, NGOs, technology companies, OEMs and suppliers to the energy and environment industry. Energy-intense heavy industry players.


As a Lead Knowledge Analyst, one will play a key role in our international Gas and LNG topic by working with case and proposal teams in a leading role, providing customized knowledge/expertise for client work and occasionally providing client facing expertise. The Lead Knowledge Analyst will also act as a thought partner for case teams, providing problem solving & topic/sector expertise. He/She will advise and train junior KT team members and manage them on client projects. This role will promote innovation at the company by bringing along strong expertise in Gas and LNG markets, and will be particularly important to bring strong analytical skills for developing complex models


Work with case (and proposal) teams in a leading role

• Scopes knowledge needs of case teams & liaises with KT and/or DRS to address them

• Provides customized knowledge for client work, occasionally providing client facing expertise

• Acts as thought partner, establishes credibility with case teams and provides problem solving &

topic/sector expertise insights

• Captures, codifies & maintains knowledge content Work with topic/sector teams in a leading role

• Collaborates & maintains the development of new knowledge through participation in Tier1s &

knowledge infrastructure projects, database, surveys, etc…

• Controls quality & supervises contribution / updates to existing topic/sector knowledge base

• Develops content for go-to-market materials

• Promotes innovation at the company by identifying knowledge capture opportunities

• Contributes to building sector/topic/ teams and suggests emerging topic/sectors based on client


Manage projects:

• Manages KT team on projects with case teams, ensures execution & is responsible for overall quality

• Leads the communication and manages workflow to ensure case team satisfaction

• Reviews & assesses the relevancy of documents in existing topic/sector-related knowledge base

«Lead» KT teams

• Advises, knowledge share & trains junior KT team

• Designs the on-boarding schedule, & provide day-to-day apprenticeship & coaching for KT staff with

guidance from Knowledge Expert

• Involved in Knowledge Analyst & Senior Knowledge Analyst recruiting process for PA where needed


Education & Experience:

• Bachelors Degree with high academic achievement required; Engineering Degree Preferred

• 4-5+ years industry experience or 2+ years consulting experience


• Strong experience in a topic/sector domain Gas & LNG Markets with own professional network and

motivated to grow as an expert

• Extraordinary MS Excel skills with programming capabilities being valued positively

• Technical and economic knowledge in the Gas/LNG sector

• Ability to build and maintain a strong industry network

• Ability to multi-task & operate effectively in a matrix organization

• Developed skills in building trust and rapport with the Knowledge Analyst & Senior Knowledge


• Strong presence & high level of maturity
